Families and children can create make-it take-it crafts and participate in hands-on activities which related to the Museum’s permanent and temporary exhibitions on selected dates throughout the year. This program is included with museum admission.
Story Circle – first Saturday of the month
This program engages our youngest visitors and their families in historic objects and museum settings by using traditional and contemporary story books. Children will also enjoy a hands-on craft or other activity and a guided trip through the galleries. Each hour session costs $5.00 per participant and takes place at 11 a.m. or 2 p.m. Stories are recommended for children ages 2-5.
Each session is limited to 30 participants. Groups with six or more children must call (517) 241 6852 for chaperon requirements and to make reservations for an alternate date and time.
Please contact staff at the Michigan Historical Center with questions, concerns, and requests for educational content.
