Mitten: Michigan at Gettysburg
At Gettysburg, at least 4,000 Michiganians fought, and more than 1,100 were listed as casualties. This edition has a special feature about John and Alfred Ryder, two brothers from Michigan who fought in the Civil War in different units, but wrote many letters home to capture their experience.
