Investigate environmental sustainability and Michigan’s natural resources with The Day the Great Lakes Drained Away by Charles Ferguson Barker.
This program engages our youngest visitors and their families in historic objects and museum settings by using traditional and contemporary story books. Children will also enjoy a hands-on craft or other activity and a guided trip through the galleries. Each hour session costs $5.00 per participant and takes place at 11 a.m. or 2 p.m. Stories are recommended for children ages 2-5.
Each session is limited to 30 participants. Groups with six or more children must call (517) 241 6852 for chaperon requirements and to make reservations for an alternate date and time.
