School Program: School of the Soldier
Bruce B. Butgereit and History Remembered Inc. will conduct a School of the Soldier program for youngsters age 5-18. Each soldier will “enlist” into the Third Michigan Volunteer Infantry, Company K, receive some instruction from the officer of the day, drill with a blank wooden musket, and then receive a discharge paper to take home as a memento of their time in service.
