Henry McKinstry
Henry was from Capac, MI. He served in Michigan’s 5th Cavalry Regiment under Custer. He was most likely there at Yellow Tavern when Huff shot J.E.B. Stuart. Henry was then wounded at Cold Harbor and subsequently discharged. I wrote a song about Henry which you can hear a sample of at www.thewouldman.com/samples.
