Genealogy Record Copy: $2.00 per page ($1.00 to Genealogy Society/$1.00 to Clerk’s Office.)

Comments: The Friday hours from 9:00 a.m. to 4 p.m. are managed by volunteers from the Flint Genealogy Society. Space allows for four to six genealogists at one time. No children are allowed. All Naturalization records for Genesee County are located at the State Archives.

 

Births: 1867 to present. Genealogists can view birth if over 100 years old or if proof of death is presented.

 

Deaths: 1867 to present. Prior to 1930, genealogists copy information from large books. After 1930, genealogists can copy or pay $2.00 per copy.

 

Marriages: 1867 to present. Prior to 1930, genealogists copy information from large books. After 1930, genealogists can copy or pay $2.00 per copy.

 

Divorces: 1871 to present. Hard copies are stored at off-site storage. Journals are kept in Clerk’s Office. Genealogists can research through journals and computers. Copy charge is $1.00 per page.

 

Veterans Discharge Records: World War I – 1900s Confidential, accessed only by personal requests from Veterans or a Veteran’s Service Agency.
